Margot Taylor
Financial Advisor
Margot grew up interning at the Healy Group in high school with her grandfather, Ed Healy, and father, Rich Preuss. She is a South Bend native and the 5th of Rich’s 10 children.
It was her internship at Healy Group that led her to study finance at the University of Notre Dame and begin her career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan. She spent the following decade in New York building financial technology products and scaling companies as an executive.
She was at a pivotal moment in her career when her grandfather, Ed Healy, passed away. Realizing her desire to continue his legacy she revisited Healy Financial to shadow her father. Upon seeing the impact he had on clients, colleagues, and the community, she decided it was time to come home.
Margot supports clients as they navigate life’s significant financial transitions. She focuses on holistic financial planning across wealth management, tax strategies, retirement, risk management, and estate planning in pursuit of clients reaching their financial goals.
Margot is an active supporter of early-stage technology companies and a member of venture communities. She is also on the Investment Committee of Beacon Health System. She is passionate about education, volunteering as a teacher in Uganda and supporting the Philip’s Fund. Margot married her husband, Nathaniel, in 2020 and they spend their free time traveling and scuba diving.
